Field trip bus pairings (and other reminders)

Posted: October 13, 2010 in General Announcements, Yearbook

Ma’am Cion + members of the council drew lots to decide on this matter this afternoon. 😀

According to the class advisers, here is the final headcount:

Charm – 24
Electron – 25
Gluon – 25
Graviton – 21
Muon – 23
Photon – 28
Tau – 23
Truth – 25

Total: 194

The pairings are as follows:

Muon-Charm, Photon-Electron, Graviton-Tau, Truth-Gluon

The bus capacity is 59, but if we don’t occupy the aisle seats a bus can hold only 49. Since we’re still waiting for the final headcount of the PTA volunteers and the final student headcount (we’ll accept payments/consent forms until tomorrow), we don’t know yet if we’ll be getting 4 0r 5 buses.

If we get 4 buses, the pairings will be followed and the teachers/parents/guides would be distributed accordingly.

If we get 5, the pairings will be followed, the parents will be at the 5th bus, and 4 students per class can transfer to the 5th bus. Instead of assigning specific class numbers to go to the 5th bus (like what we did for last year’s retreat), we’ll ask for volunteers this time.

Only 4 slots will be available per class, and it would be on a first come first served basis. To be fair to everyone, all those who are interested should go only to me, and sign-ups will be from 7:30 AM to 3:20 PM tomorrow. Karen Sy of IV-Photon, 09228169146. During the elective periods + UB you can find me either at the back lobby, chem unit or oval. 😀

SPREAD THE WORD, PLEASE.

Also: please be reminded that food won’t be provided. Bring packed lunch, snacks, medicine kit, extra clothes, insect repellant, sunblock lotion etc. For the complete list of things to bring, refer to the previous post. Everyone should wear one of the batch shirts (preferably the 4th year batch shirt) + shorts/jogging pants (no maong pants).

// YEARBOOK CREATIVE SHOTS. Please think of one na, and list down all the materials/props/costume/make-up/special effects you’ll be needing. Each class will meet with the studio staff on Monday (I’ll post the schedule soon). Be prepared.
